 will consist of four workshops that each focus on different aspects of gar
 dening using a wicking bed\, including construction (with a live demonstra
 tion)\, soils and nutrient cycles\, what to grow\, and managing pests and 
 nutrient deficiencies.</p>\n<p>Workshop One – In this introductory worksho
 p\, the presenter will demonstrate how to build a wicking bed using recycl
 ed materials. Participants will then be able to construct a wicking bed at
  home.</p>\n<p>Workshop Two – The second workshop in the series will focus
  on soils and nutrient cycles. Participants will come away with an underst
 anding of the benefits of growing vegetables in a contained bed\, what soi
 ls are appropriate to use\, and the importance of nutrients.</p>\n<p>Works
 hop Three – The focus of this workshop will be the importance of choosing 
 the best veggies and herbs to maximise your productivity and harvest.</p>
 \n<p>Workshop Four – The final workshop in the series will focus on how to
  diagnose and treat nutrient deficiencies and manage pests using non-toxic
  methods\, including companion planting and encouraging beneficial insects
