Trillion Trees Australia is not-for-profit and community driven. #

Since 1979 we have been bringing people together to plant trees, reconnect with nature and foster a long-term appreciation of the value of trees for a healthy planet. Trillion Trees Australia delivers our mission through ecological restoration projects across Western Australia, the creation of locally focused education programs and building connected communities.

Through volunteer engagement we regenerate landscapes, along with communities, to create a vibrant environment for future generations. Our planting projects combat salinity and soil erosion, improve biodiversity, and provide habitat for thousands of native species. Using only Australian native species, most of which are propagated and grown in our Hazelmere nursery, we have planted over 15 million native trees and understory across Western Australia.

SPROUT! our unique education program has been operating in schools since 1980. We've connected with over 120,000 young people who together have planted more the 2.5 million trees. This engaging program offers a mix of practical skills and school-based learning to foster an appreciation for the natural world and equip young people with the knowledge and understanding needed to act against climate change.

We have inspired and founded many highly successful environmental organisations and initiatives including Perth City Farm, Native Plants WA, Carbon (WA’s first carbon offset program) the award-winning Farm Tree Help Scheme; Activate the Wheatbelt …to name a few.

At Trillion Trees Australia, we believe that trees are a promise to the future.

Be part of our story.
