Located in an area of historically cleared grass parkland on the Swan River’s floodplain, our Kweela Restoration Project at Reg Bond Reserve aims to connect existing pockets of native vegetation to create a corridor of riparian woodland. This area is an important habitat for an extensive variety of native birds including endangered black cockatoos.
🌳 Together, we’ll be planting 3,000 native trees and shrubs to help heal the landscape – and we can't do it without you!
This planting forms part of our long standing commitment to plant Memorial Groves, thanks to generous support from Bowra and O’Dea over the last 30 years. This event is also kindly supported by Bupa and Landcare Australia.
