Trillion Trees recently received the generous gift of a large watering trailer which will greatly assist us in our restoration work. The 2000 litre trailer will allow us to carry out monthly watering of our youngest trees and plants throughout Summer to improve survival rates of the native trees and plants.
In late December, our volunteer team spent two days at our Kweela Restoration Project at Reg Bond Reserve in Viveash, watering over 3000 young trees and plants that were planted in 2023 and 2024.

"The new watering trailer is so needed and will help us to give these young plants the best possible chance of thriving through their first summer or two. It will also support our volunteers to work safely in hot, Summer conditions, aided by the water pump and long hoses," said Ecological Restoration Manager Doug Laurie.
Our team of nature care volunteers assist with a range of tasks to support our restoration programs, such as mulching, watering and weeding.
